Will Marler

Will Marler is a Senior Research and Teaching Associate in the Internet Use & Society Division in the Department of Communication and Media Research (IKMZ). His research centers on digital media use in marginalized communities, with an emphasis on how people in poverty build social capital and exchange social support. He uses ethnography, in-depth interviews, and survey methods to explore these questions. His research interests include how people use social media to discuss science and religion.
